After graduating from the University of Hertfordshire with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Rup continued his studies at the University of Kent where he received his Msc in Finance, Risk & Investment. Shortly after, he joined Tigermar and has since become an important member of the team helping to facilitate the processing, documentation and servicing of accounts.

During his stay he has been exposed to various insurance policies but his focus of interest is in the structuring of Marine policies. With hopes of becoming a Marine broker he performs his duties diligently.

Outside of office hours, he spends his time travelling Singapore playing football.
